Many used Ford Fiesta fans may want to take a trip to their local showroom in the coming weeks as the latest vehicle from the range is due to hit the market.Independent analysts have stated that the Ford Fiesta was the best selling car during December, with the new model set to benefit from an ECOnetic package.
This package, which provides the vehicles with greater fuel efficiency, may have already been witnessed by used Ford Focus and used Ford Mondeo drivers.
Some 500 Ford Fiesta ECOnetics have already been ordered by customers, with the vehicle allowing drivers to complete 76.3 miles to the gallon, while generating CO2 emissions of only 98g/km.
Nigel Sharp, Ford of Britain managing director, said: "The increasing number of our customers shifting into greener cars translates into meaningful reductions in automotive CO2 output."
Meanwhile, Cleangreencars.co.uk recently confirmed that the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic is the most eco-friendly family car in the UK, coming out on top among all five-seater vehicles.
